"Active Touch is the only company in the online meeting space that has put together the formula for success: WebEx.com has the right business model -- service vs. software -- it fully utilizes its Web-based platform, and the technology is outstanding,'' remarked Bittencourt. "I'm thrilled to join a company that is going to fundamentally change the way people communicate over the Web.''

Bittencourt most recently served as senior director of program management at Macromedia (Nasdaq:MACR - news) where she was responsible for strategic initiatives for the Learning Division products.
